Middle East Overseas Business Manager

Summary of the Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the expansion of our building materials business in the Middle East. This position is pivotal in driving market strategy, overseeing operations, and cultivating partnerships to enhance our regional footprint. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, strong operational expertise, and a robust network within the Middle Eastern building materials sector. 

Key Responsibilities

Market Strategy Development
Develop and implement comprehensive sales, marketing, and growth strategies for the Middle East market, focusing on increasing market share and brand presence. Tailor initiatives to align with the unique characteristics and demands of the region.
Operations Management
Oversee all aspects of business activities in the region to ensure consistent growth and sustainability. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, clients, and local partners.
Market Analysis and Research
Conduct thorough research on local regulations, economic conditions, and cultural factors. Analyze market trends and competitor activities, staying attuned to developments that impact the company’s product offerings and performance in the region.
Risk Management and Compliance
Ensure full compliance with regional laws and regulations while mitigating risks. Establish and manage frameworks to maintain the highest standards of regulatory adherence.
Reporting and Communication
Deliver regular updates on market performance and development, providing senior management with actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Foster effective communication across departments to ensure alignment on business goals and support for regional operations.
Additional Responsibilities
Handle any other duties assigned by management to support the company's strategic objectives in the Middle East.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years in international business development within the building materials or home furnishings industry.
  • Market Expertise: Established network and proven achievements in the Middle East building materials sector, with a deep understanding of local market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Skills: Strong sales, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities excellent communication, relationship-building, and coordination skills proficient in analyzing market data and reporting insights effectively.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with Middle Eastern regulations, ensuring adherence to local laws.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with proficiency in Arabic considered an advantage.
