Senior Engineer


Position Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Engineer to join a collaborative, employee-owned civil engineering firm with a focus on survey and mapping, stormwater management, water quality, and geospatial technology. As a Sr. Engineer, you will work within a culture that values team participation, shared success, and professional growth. Key Responsibilities

Engineer I Level:

  • Prepare and manage engineering plans and production processes.
  • Perform engineering calculations, solve design challenges, and build knowledge of industry standards and agency requirements for project planning.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team while developing independent technical skills and knowledge.

Engineer II Level:

  • Execute the duties of Engineer I with added responsibilities, including coordinating with architects, agencies, and clients to ensure alignment on design and production standards.
  • Exercise independent judgment in resolving design issues and make key engineering decisions as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Engineer I Level:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of civil engineering design experience.
  • EIT certification.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD experience with Civil 3D is preferred.

Engineer II Level:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of civil engineering design experience.
  • EIT certification required.
  • Ability to independently manage engineering tasks, coordinate with stakeholders, and make project decisions.
