Surveyor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our surveying and mapping division, this role will focus on preparing and overseeing various survey-related documentation and project coordination tasks. This is an office-based position with occasional site visits and does not involve field surveying duties. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process subdivision maps, records of survey, ALTA surveys, lot line adjustments, legal descriptions, condominium plans, and other subdivision/survey documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineering Project Managers to monitor budgets and project schedules.
  • Develop project approaches, set up mapping tasks, and manage execution of mapping processes.
  • Independently resolve complex mapping or engineering challenges.
  • Ensure all documentation and deliverables comply with California state regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Minimum two years of formal survey and mapping education, along with six or more years of experience, or a combination of relevant college and hands-on design experience in land boundary and titles.
  • At least two years of experience in independently solving complex mapping or engineering problems.
  • Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of California.
  • Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to survey preparation and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in relevant survey software and technology.
