Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee impactful projects in the Los Angeles and Ventura County regions. As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage a multi-disciplinary team on notable public works and land development projects, driving innovative solutions for communities and clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and shape infrastructure projects that leave a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead engineering design teams, ensuring quality and adherence to project goals.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively, aligning with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and administer contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, public agency personnel, and internal teams.
  • Conduct site assessments and engineering design studies, considering infrastructure needs and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate and process public improvement plans, regulatory plans, and land development documentation, particularly within Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
  • Perform constructability reviews and provide construction support services.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Projects, and Bluebeam to support design and project management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • achelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license in California.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in land development or public works, with at least 8 years in a management role.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience supervising engineers, designers, and project support staff.
  • Proficient in project scheduling, budget management, and client/public-agency relations.
  • Skilled in CAD software and construction management principles.
  • Strong decision-making, leadership, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Expertise in negotiation, jurisdictional processing, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
