Data manager for clinical trials in obesity (Diabetes and Metabolism)

We offer a vacancy for a Data Manager position within the Diabetes and Metabolism Research Group. 


Education and qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine
  • Fluency in Catalan, Spanish


Desired:

  • Additional training in data management, databases and statistics
  • Additional training in Clinical Trials
  • Additional training in obesity clinical management
  • Fluency in English

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience working as a data manager.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Desired:

  • Knowledge of how to manage electronic medical history registry: ARGOS, SAP.
  • Knowledge of e-CRF and management of clinical data related to clinical trials.
Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Data entry in e-CRF, SAP and databases of the clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with the medical team and study coordinators from our department and from other departments.
  • Keep track of patients and biological samples and study-related procedures. 

 Labour conditions:

  • Part-time position: 10h/week
  • Starting date: Immediate
  • Gross annual salary: 9.000,00 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
  • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
