Recruiting: Legal Counsel will base in Hungary, fluent in Chinese

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of our business in our European markets, especially in Hungary. You will safeguard our business interests by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law guidelines and give legal advice to the management about all relevant issues. You will report to the legal department manager based in the Budapest.
 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the legal affairs of our Hungarian Company; Formulating mechanisms for risk prevention and control, emergency handling and response;
• Researching laws and policies related to the business; providing legal advice for the company's decision-making and business operations; carrying out relevant legal training;
• Responsible for the identification, analysis, evaluation, and response of legal risks for the front operation of our Hungarian company; Providing legal support for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating relevant contracts, company policies, and other legal documents;
• Responsible for the follow-up of litigation and non-litigation legal affairs;
• Processing other related works assigned by the leader.

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

• Master's degree is preferred;
• More than 2 years of work experience, automotive and other manufacturing industry working experience is preferred;
• With strong ability and rich experience in dealing with legal compliance matters, including but not limited to Data Protection, Competition law, export control; Skilled in handling cross-cultural and multi-jurisdictional legal matters;
• Excellent ability to analyze and solve problems, good communication and coordination skills, efficient execution, strong ability to work under pressure and team management;
• With proactive, diligent, rigorous work attitude; able to complete all kinds of work independently;
• Both English and Mandarin can be used as working languages (written and spoken).
