Head of Trading

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Trading with a strong background in DeFi to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will develop and implement sophisticated trading strategies to optimize returns while managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement quantitative trading strategies for DeFi markets
• Analyze market trends, liquidity, and volatility across multiple DeFi protocols
• Optimize yield farming strategies and liquidity provision across decentralized exchanges
• Conduct research on new DeFi protocols and assess their potential for integration into our strategies
• Collaborate with the development team to implement and automate trading algorithms
• Monitor and manage risk exposure across various DeFi positions
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to the management team

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• 4+ years of experience in quantitative trading, preferably with exposure to cryptocurrency markets
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, R, or Solidity
• In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with on-chain data analysis and blockchain analytics tools
• Knowledge of advanced DeFi concepts such as flash loans, MEV, and cross-chain bridges
• Familiarity with decentralized options and derivatives protocols
• Experience with machine learning and its applications in trading

Compensation Package

Base plus significant profit sharing that could take total compensation to $500K or more.
