Research Technician (Growth and development)

VHIR is seeking to fill a vacant position for a Research Technician for Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes Clinical Research within the Group of Pediatric Endocrinology and Investigation Group “Growth and Development”. 

Education and qualifications:

Required:

• Degree in Medicine with a specialisation in Pediatrics

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

• Paediatric Endocrinology with a focus on disorders of glucose metabolism in CF patients

Desired:

• Previous experience in clinical investigation
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, self-motivation and teamwork abilities
• Good level of English

 Main responsibilities and duties:

• Support Endocrinology section of the Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Unit of Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron
• Participation in clinical trials
• Supervision of the OGTT

Labour conditions:

• Part-time position: 06h/week
• Starting date: Immediate
• Gross annual salary: 3.711,140 euros
• Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
