Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in various insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Develop and execute effective case strategies from inception through trial or settlement.
• Participate actively in pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings, including depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Keep clients informed with regular updates and provide sound legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain thorough and timely case records and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in insurance defense law and fulfill Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of cases under pressure.
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
