Loss Prevention Engineer for Oil & Gas

We're looking for Loss Prevention Engineers for job in UAE in the Offshore Oil Gas Industry.

Scope of work: Carry out Loss Prevention Engineering work on the assigned project relevant to offshore wellhead /process platforms under the supervision of the Lead Process Engineer on the assigned project.

Main Responsibilities:

• Loss prevention philosophy concept, fire protection design basis
• Hazardous area classification schedule layouts
• Specification/Criteria for passive fire protection (fireproofing), schedule layouts
• Fire gas design philosophy and Fire and gas detection system layouts
• Layout drawings for safety equipment location, escape route and safety signs
• Perform design basis and characterization of the fire fighting protection system, and prepare relevant documents layouts
• Execute hydraulic calculation for fire water network spray system

Requirements:

• Bachelor or higher degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
• Minimum experience of 10 years in Oil Gas Industry.
• Good Experience skills in process engineering for offshore wellhead /process platforms
• Expertise in the preparation of fire water network PIDs.
• Familiar with Qatar energy/ADNOC/SHELL/ARAMCO standards and international regulations

• Local employment contract
• Starting date: ASAP
• Duration: twelve (12) months, with possibilities of extension.
• Working hours: 9 hours a day / 5 days a week
• Rotation: Resident with 30 days off per year
