Events Project Manager

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard an Events Project Manager for their Barcelona office. 

Position: Events Project Manager

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary incentives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain all project documents organized and up-to-date for easy reference
• Identify and address potential risks to keep projects on track and minimize disruptions
• Define Project Goals with stakeholders to outline project scopes, objectives, and ensure technical feasibility
• Ensure the right resources are available and allocated effectively throughout the project
• Regularly update event project plans and adjust timelines to reflect key workstreams
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met
• Maintain an up-to-date project tracker, incorporating feedback and prioritizing new requests.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate event logistics, staffing, and summit planning
• Develop internal messages and presentations, collaborating with communications teams to share important updates with the right audiences

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native/ Fluent in English (at least C1 level), both written and spoken 
• At least 5 years of experience in project management
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in relevant field
• Experience in planning, organizing, and executing events
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead projects
• Experience working with diverse, geographically spread-out teams and stakeholders
• Ability to design and manage efficient, scalable processes
• Strong independent problem-solving skills
• Excellent people skills with a focus on professionalism and integrity
• Proficient in essential computer applications and general IT tools
