PHP/Laravel Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced PHP/Laravel Backend Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in developing high-quality web applications, working closely with front-end developers and other team members. Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and expand the features of web applications
• Develop clean, scalable, and secure code
• Create unit, functional, and integration tests
• Optimize database performance
• Interpret and implement business requirements
• Document technical aspects of new features
• Provide production system support and proactively resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.

Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a PHP/Laravel Developer
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
• Strong understanding of object-oriented PHP and the Laravel framework
• Practical experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, and REST API architecture
• Proficiency in software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec)
• Experience with MySQL profiling and query optimization
• Familiarity with Git version control
• A creative and efficient approach to problem-solving
• Prior experience in the FinTech or FX industry is an added advantage.
