Social Media Manager (Chinese language)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Social Media Manager with a deep passion for Chinese social media both as a user and professional. The ideal candidate will stay ahead of platform trends and content evolution, and proactively bring fresh ideas to clients. You'll manage several social media accounts, ensuring high-quality content execution, monitoring performance, and building strong audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• • Social Media Expertise: Be up-to-date with Chinese social media trends and developments. Continuously propose creative ideas to clients, reflecting a thorough understanding of the platforms and their audiences.
  • Content Management: Oversee daily operations of social media accounts, manage client communications, and ensure impeccable content that resonates with the brand’s tone. Implement strategies to build trust and stimulate audience interaction.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Track and analyze social media performance, experimenting with new strategies. Draw actionable insights and provide concise recommendations to clients based on data analysis.
  • PR and Influencer Engagement: Have a solid understanding of digital PR and work closely with journalists and influencers to support clients’ social media efforts. Stay informed on trends and develop strategies that align with client opportunities.
  • Strategy and Reporting: Develop social media strategies for new business pitches and maintain client reports/dashboards. Ensure alignment between social media KPIs and broader business objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience

• • Experience: Proven experience in social media management within a marketing agency in China is required.
  • Language Skills: Native Chinese speaker.
  • Loyalty: We are looking for candidates with a track record of loyalty and growth within a company. Frequent job changes will not be considered.
  • Ideal Background: Preferably worked in a social media-focused marketing agency in China.
