Medior International Trader - Purchasing

We are seeking experienced and results-driven International Traders to join our dynamic team, responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers worldwide.

As an International Trader, you will be responsible for negotiating and closing orders, managing order flow, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct independent conversations with customers and suppliers to identify business opportunities and negotiate agreements. Independently handle negotiations and close orders, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction of customer needs. Travel internationally to attend industry events, meetings, and conferences to build relationships and promote our products/services

Capture activities in Quarterly plan, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. Customize products/services to meet specific customer requirements

  • Create daily offers or stock lists to drive sales and customer satisfaction. Manage relationships with customers and suppliers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Provide input for and compile reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer behaviour
  • Manage own order book, ensuring timely delivery of products/services
  • Participate in team meetings, providing updates and insights to drive business growth
  • Identify process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in international trade, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing deals with customers/suppliers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluency in multiple languages (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30% of the time)
