Business System Analyst - Relocation to Cyprus

Our client is part of a leading management consultancy firm that specialises in driving digital transformation within the fintech industry. It has more than 1000 employees across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and Taiwan. They have recently established an office in Cyprus dedicated to advancing technological solutions for crypto and CFD brokers.

Our client is developing an innovative anti-fraud platform designed to ensure security in trading and payment fields. The platform is in the active development stage, and all key components will be built from scratch. This includes a rule management engine, integration with various data providers, tools for clone detection, and scoring models. Additionally, there are plans to develop a unified back-office for rule configuration, transaction monitoring, and risk mitigation management.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed requirements for technical solutions.
• Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and surveys to gather requirements and elicit business needs.
• Develop and maintain business process models, flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate system interactions and data flows.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Create and maintain system specifications and technical documentation to support development and implementation activities.
• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure that solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Proactively identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to address them on time.

We are happy to hear from you if you have:

• 4+ years of experience as a business systems analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
• Spoken Russian
• High-risk understanding.
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as requirements gathering, process modelling, and data analysis.
• Experience in establishing all processes from scratch - nice to have
• Experience with business process management (BPM) tools, such as Visio, Lucidchart or Bizagi.
• Experience with API and process descriptions (sequence diagram, XSD, JSON-schema)
• Experience with system architecture design and understanding of software integration methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or related field Master's degree preferred.
• Willingness to work in an office in Cyprus
