Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly organized, results-driven Operations Manager to take full ownership of managing our project portfolio. This role is hands-on, requiring someone who can directly oversee project execution, resource allocation, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management:
    • Manage and prioritize the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Resource Process Management:
    • Efficiently allocate resources across projects.
      Ensure processes are in place to support smooth execution and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including legal experts.
    • Ensure clear, structured communication and manage expectations effectively.
  • Risk Performance Tracking:
    • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Track KPIs and provide regular, detailed reporting to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Apply best practices in project and portfolio management.
    • Drive continuous process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Acting as a liaison between various stakeholders (e.g., project managers, legal teams, and external partners) to facilitate clear communication and resolve any contract-related issues.
  • Contract Administration:
    • Overseeing the day-to-day management of contracts, including documentation, renewals, modifications, and terminations.
  • Budget Management:
    • Collaborating with finance teams to ensure that contract costs align with budget forecasts and managing any financial implications of contract changes.

Qualifications:

  • Solid track record of excellence in project management, including, ideally, 3+ years managing a project portfolio.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them on time and within budget.
  • Experience working with legal experts and handling project contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, JIRA) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
