Data Support Specialist

Your Mission: Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Assist the data team in supporting revenue management operations.
  • Manage and update a tier-based pricing system for a 48,000-unit self-storage portfolio.
  • Cleanse and monitor market data to ensure pricing accuracy across the portfolio.
  • Collect, process, and transform data to prepare it for analysis and reporting.
  • Support the development of revenue forecasts, budgets, and strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Resolve data automation bugs and support error-checking processes.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for special projects and decision-making support.
  • Document business processes and help identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Manage data entry tasks and manually update reports as needed.

Your Toolbox: Skills to be Successful

  • Data analysis to identify trends and insights.
  • Data visualization to communicate findings.
  • Strong MS Excel skills for data handling and analysis.
  • Basic understanding of databases, schemas, Python, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate and Power BI (bonus points!).
  • Great communication and presentation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
