Head of Complex Care
Up to £70,000 (DOE) + bonus scheme
Remote – with National travel
About the role
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Complex Care Manager. You will be providing leadership and guidance to the network and internal functions on complex, clinical service, and long-term conditions. Liaising with external healthcare bodies to identify and execute strategic partnerships to enhance the scope of quality care within a home care agenda. Working across the functional roles to design and implement a cohesive complex offer to meet the changing needs of long-term conditions within home care.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance on complex and clinical care provision across the network
- Can strategize and identify potential revenue streams and opportunities in complex care for Franchise partners to develop in their businesses
- Develop external partnerships with NHS and other stakeholders to build trust and presence in local areas
- Support and monitor Franchise Partners business plans in relation to complex care
- Support Franchise businesses with RFP bids for local and regional complex care contracts
- Support and lead in the development of policies and procedures aligned to care or complex or long-term conditions
- Form and lead a best practice forum made up of nurses across the Network

- Full-time role – core hours 8:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday with some flexibility
- Remote based – with national travel (some overnight stays will be required)

Candidate requirements
Essential:
- Degree in area relevant to the position or 10 + years successful work experience.
- Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin with at least 5 years of clinical practice
- 7 years’ experience in multi-site operations over geographical territories.
- Experience in both an NHS/external healthcare clinical role and social care.
- Working understanding of Social Care, particularly Home Care.
- Ideally to have a working knowledge of UK regulations governing home care services.
- Must be effective in a variety of formal presentation settings, one-on-one, small, and large groups.
- Can identify problems, analysing them in a systematic, timely way and acting decisively to implement solutions and resolve issues.
