Job Description: 90% Remote work in Germany

Project: CAM Timetable Management (CAM-FplV)Context: The CAM timetable management process for DB Cargo involves further development and maintenance using IBM technologies (Cobol, CICS, MQ, DB2). The project includes technical design based on customer requirements, implementation of these requirements, and the replacement of existing middleware for client connection with a connection via web services (provider and requester under CICS Transaction Server).

Project Objectives: Provision of Services:

• • Services are provided in accordance with the agreed standards and specifications of the client (framework agreement, process model, further specifications if necessary).
  • Ensure the quality of the developed software code.
• Programming/Implementation/Customizing:
  • Technical components in applications based on the technologies used, including associated interfaces, modules, and corresponding databases in compliance with the client's standards (e.g., use of standardized development environments and programming guidelines).
  • Correcting errors from the test phases in the applications/components.
  • Documentation of technical components and system documentation.
  • Creation of delivery packages for the relevant applications CAM, SD, and FplV.
  • Use of development environments including continuous integration.
  • Conducting code reviews, component tests, module tests, and module group tests.
  • Preparation of decision templates on technical topics.
  • Presentations on technically complex topics.
  • Reporting of risks and problems to the technical architects and project management.
