About the Job

As the Digital Solutions Cloud Manager at Teledyne FLIR, you will take on a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our cloud products. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementation, ensuring our cloud solutions meet both market needs and organizational goals. You will lead a talented team, prioritizing projects, managing timelines, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver exceptional cloud applications.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Cloud Engineering Team: Mentor and manage a high-performing engineering team, ensuring they thrive in an agile environment. Provide leadership from development to deployment while fostering collaboration across the company.

• Define and implement cloud strategies: Partner with department leaders to shape the cloud vision, ensuring all technical solutions align with architectural and strategic business goals.

• Oversee the full development lifecycle: Manage the process and guide the team from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and delivery of our cloud solutions.

• Drive agile processes: Help define and streamline Agile software development methodologies to maximize efficiency, collaboration, and success.

About You

We are seeking a leader who excels in product management and has a clear understanding of how to drive cloud development projects from concept to delivery.

• Experienced in agile methodologies: You’re experienced in working within an Agile framework, adept at sprint planning, prioritization, and ensuring your team’s focus is aligned with product goals.

• Strong communication skills: You can clearly articulate product visions, manage expectations, and foster collaboration across multiple departments.

• Proven leadership skills: You have led engineering teams in an agile development process, guiding them from concept to production delivery. Experience as a product owner or manager is a plus.

• Technical Expertise: You have the technical skills necessary to guide your team in making sound engineering decisions, from development to deployment.

• Process-Oriented: You are experienced in leading processes from requirements through design, implementation, testing, and delivery.
