Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a large plaintiff-side litigation law firm that represents regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies across various industries in both federal and state courts. We specialize in Wage Hour, Class Actions, Complex Litigation, the Private Attorneys General Act, the California Labor Code, and Labor Employment. 

We are seeking an Attorney to work out of our HQ in Glendale, CA. You will be responsible for leading the efforts associated with negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising complex settlement agreements in class action matters, seeking court approval of settlements according to the terms and conditions contained in the agreements, and working with class action administrators to ensure that the settlements are properly administered.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate, draft, review/revise various contracts, including class action settlement agreements
• Negotiate, draft, review/revise class action notices, claim forms, and other related documents
• Negotiate, draft, review, and revise motions for approval of class action settlements
• Monitor class action administrators to ensure they carry out their responsibilities according to the court's instructions.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in California
• 1 - 3 years of experience with Class Action settlements
• Motion experience as well as taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines at a time
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat required
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a professional environment and maintain a professional demeanor in all situations, including the ability to remain calm and efficient during stressful situations

Additional Info:

• Base Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 (D.O.E)
• Plus Additional Bonus/Attorney Fee Structure
