Test Automation Engineer

We seek a Test Automation Engineer to join a team supporting our client in defining and executing test strategies for cloud-native microservice solutions. You will be crucial in delivering efficiency and quality improvements for thousands of engineers worldwide, working on next-generation solutions in the mobility sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define test strategy and execution for automated cloud-native microservice solutions, delivering efficiency and quality gains to support mobility engineers globally.
• Design, implement, and execute performance and load-testing strategies for next-gen solutions in the autonomous driving domain.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and operations teams to understand performance requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop test plans, scripts, and tools to simulate heavy traffic, complex transactions, and high-demand use cases.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to improve system performance and scalability.
• Create and present Quality Test Results Reports to senior management, advising on quality trends.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a senior test automation role, with at least 3 years specializing in non-functional testing (performance, load, backup/recovery, disaster recovery).
• Expertise in UI and API testing methods, with strong knowledge of relevant tooling.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, test case development, and automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and RestAssured.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or JavaScript.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
• Strong English communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of Agile development processes and IT project management procedures.
