Job Title: Puppet Open-Source SME (Subject Matter Expert)

Primary Skills - Puppet Admin (Preferably Opensource/enterprice edition)

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the infrastructure teams to plan and execute the migration from Enterprise Puppet to Open-Source Puppet.
- Assess the existing infrastructure and Puppet configurations to determine the best approach for migration, taking into consideration the current

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential challenges, risks, and opportunities for improvement in the migration process.
- Develop migration strategies and roadmaps, clearly defining the necessary tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Perform hands-on configuration and customization of Open-Source Puppet, ensuring compatibility and optimization for the new environment.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the team members involved in the migration process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during the migration, ensuring minimal disruption to systems and services.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including best practices, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for using Open-Source Puppet effectively.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements related to Puppet and other relevant technologies, sharing knowledge with the team as appropriate
