Job Description:

As a Senior Material Modeling Engineer, you will be engaged in the development and implementation of material models, ensuring they are ready for daily use by our engineering team. You will collaborate closely with our colleagues in the materials laboratory. Our team engages in a variety of tasks, including FEM analysis, alloy development, constitutive modeling, methodology development, and providing support to workshops, procurement, and service. Our responsibilities lie within the turbine module systems and components in the gas turbine. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, with the expectation of regular in-office presence to ensure effective collaboration and team integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement constitutive and life material models for high-temperature applications
• Contribute to methodology and procedure development for constitutive and life material modeling
• Support development and technology projects by assessing, planning, and evaluating material testing

Requirements:

• Background in solid mechanics, material science, or a related field
• Experience in material modeling
• Experience with FEM analysis for lifing calculation
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• Experience with UMAT is an advantage
