Job Description:

We are looking for several functional safety engineers. You will be a part of a development team for a customer in the in the heavy vehicle domain.In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and reliability of our products, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and analyze risk assessments in collaboration with engineering teams. Propose and select components that meet functional safety requirements. Perform Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) calculations to ensure product reliability. Develop clear and comprehensive safety documentation and instructions. Independently investigate and resolve safety-related issues throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Experience in functional safety, preferably for heavy vehicles.
• Knowledge of the ISO 26262 standard.
• Ability to lead safety activities.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
