Responsibilities and main tasks:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Contribute to the formulation of long-term financial plans and business strategies.
  • Oversee the budgeting process, working with various departments to establish financial goals.
  • Provide accurate and insightful financial forecasts to guide decision-making.
  • Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports to executives, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, proposing strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  • Implement risk management policies and procedures to safeguard the company's assets.
  • Manage and optimize cash flow to support daily operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor liquidity and ensure the availability of funds for critical needs.
  • Conduct financial analyses to provide insights into the company's performance and trends.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of various business decisions and initiatives.
  • Assess and optimize the company's capital structure to achieve cost-effective financing.
  • Explore and secure funding sources, including debt and equity options.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, legal requirements, and corporate governance standards.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to address compliance issues.
  • Oversee administrative functions, collaborating with other departments to optimize processes.
  • Participate in strategic decision-making beyond finance to contribute to overall company success.
  • Communicate effectively with Board of Directors and Shareholders.
  • Provide support at the company‘s Board Meetings (agenda, reporting, meeting minutes).
  • Represent the company in financial discussions and presentations.
Experience:
  • Relevant education in finance, accounting or related field. Advance degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial leadership roles, with a track record of successful financial management and strategic decision-making. Prior experience as a Finance Manager or a senior financial management is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the specific industry in which the company operates, including its regulatory environment and financial challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with financial software and technology tools for efficient financial management and reporting.
