Job Title:Junior Business Development ManagerEnergy Storage System)

Reports to: Sales General Manager

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Responsible for: Energy Storage system and portable battery products sales

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The BDM will be responsible for driving sales and market growth for our ESS and portable power products, with a strong focus on account management. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the renewable energy market and a proven track record in business development and account management.

Primary targets and Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the ESS and portable power sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, dealers, and end-users.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team to support the continuous improvement of our offerings.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans to drive growth and retention within existing accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of products and services to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling between our multiple brands.
  • Meet all KPI’s assigned by Management

Main Job Requirements

  • Degree in business management or alike advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the renewable energy or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the Solar PV, ESS, and portable power markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
