LOCATION: Bracknell, UK
Hybrid working - 3 days office based
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with excellent Wi-Fi project experience, a strong understanding of project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Wi-Fi installation projects from inception to completion.
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely delivery and quality.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, technicians, and vendors, to ensure project success.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to clients.
- Address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that projects meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections to verify installation quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during project execution.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, including IEEE standards, network topologies, and RF propagation.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with Wi-Fi site surveys and RF planning tools.
- Certifications in Wi-Fi technologies (e.g., CWNP, CWSP) are a plus.
- Some experience of influencing and negotiations are a must along with experience of delivering projects in a matrix-managed team.
- Awareness in the principles, methods and techniques for the effective set-up and delivery of technical projects
Desirable Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Ekahau Wi-Fi survey package.
- Knowledge of AirMagnet Wi-Fi survey package.
- Knowledge of NetSpot Wi-Fi survey package.
