Project Manager

LOCATION: Bracknell, UK

Hybrid working - 3 days office based

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with excellent Wi-Fi project experience, a strong understanding of project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Wi-Fi installation projects from inception to completion.

Project Planning and Management:

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, technicians, and vendors, to ensure project success.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to clients.
• Address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
• Provide mentorship and training to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure that projects meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to verify installation quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during project execution.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, including IEEE standards, network topologies, and RF propagation.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with Wi-Fi site surveys and RF planning tools.
• Certifications in Wi-Fi technologies (e.g., CWNP, CWSP) are a plus.
• Some experience of influencing and negotiations are a must along with experience of delivering projects in a matrix-managed team.
• Awareness in the principles, methods and techniques for the effective set-up and delivery of technical projects

Desirable Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Ekahau Wi-Fi survey package.
• Knowledge of AirMagnet Wi-Fi survey package.
• Knowledge of NetSpot Wi-Fi survey package.
