Job Summary: 

The HR Supervisor will play a vital role in shaping the employee experience, leading our HR team and driving innovation in recruiting and onboarding processes. This role will oversee disciplinary actions, manage PTO and UTO effectively to support work-life balance, guide our apprenticeship program to foster growth and development, as well as providing expert employee counseling, benefits administration, and legal and litigation support. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English and Spanish), with experience in the construction or electrical industry and relevant HR education.

Work Schedule: 8 hour shift

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and support the HR team, ensuring efficient and effective HR operations.
  • Improve and manage the recruiting and onboarding systems to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee disciplinary actions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage PTO and UTO requests, ensuring accurate tracking and approval processes.
  • Coordinate and manage the apprenticeship program, ensuring effective training and development.
  • Provide employee counseling and support, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Handle legal and mitigation matters, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or electrical industry.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Experience with HR software and systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (3-5 years of experience.)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional In Human Resources Certification (Preferred)

Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
