About the position

As an engineer, you will help new and existing customers to develop their businesses by using our web-based Logistics solution. The work will give you a unique insight into the ever-changing market of Logistics and its software ecosystem. You will at the same time further nurture your skills in software development and implementation. The work is primarily done from our pleasant office at Johanneberg, Gothenburg, but can also include visits to our customers. The position is full-time.

Ronny, working as a Senior Software Engineer, helps our customers integrate their ERP and e-commerce services to Ongoing WMS.

About you

Ongoing is looking for software engineers with at least a few years of experience who are interested in using their skills to further help simplify and connect the world of Logistics. We are a company with a strong focus on close collaboration and helping our customers and are therefore looking for flexible, focused, and customer-oriented engineers. We think that you can understand and analyze our customers' businesses but also have the capacity to understand, learn and improve a large Software as a Service solution. Ongoing WMS handles large amounts of data. Performance, reliability, and security are important. In the role, you will help our customers manage large data quantities using Microsoft SQL Server.

Qualifications

It is expected that you have experience in software development. Further, you should be excited about working in an entrepreneurial-driven software company where curiosity, responsibility, and flexibility are important parts of future success. Full professional working proficiency in English and a European language is required. It is meritorious if you speak additional languages. Master's Degree holders are eligible. Our employees have backgrounds from all engineering specializations and almost all have a master's degree in Technology as well as other qualifications.

We work with the following technologies and languages (and many more) and it is therefore meritorious if you have experience in them or similar:

• C#
• .NET
• Relational Database - Microsoft SQL Server
• Web (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• REST-APIs and Webhooks

Ongoing WMS is powered by .NET and can be reached from any device via the web. Skills in C#, the web and related technology are meritorious.
