Food&Safety QA Engineer

The company has a long and successful history of developing and manufacturing dietary supplements in the form of tablets and capsules containing, among other things, vitamins, minerals, herbs, natural ingredients and extracts, adaptogens, nutraceuticals, and nutrients. 

Our headquarters and production facility are located in Åkersberga, outside of Stockholm.

We are ISO-certified according to FSSC 22000. 

We are now looking for a new team member to join our growing quality department. The position is a temporary role for 6 months, full-time, with an immediate start or as agreed, with the possibility of extension.

Selected Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for deviation investigations, both internal and external customer complaints.
• Conduct training for the rest of the staff on food safety.
• As part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing routines for quality and ensuring product safety in the department, as well as monitoring industry issues.
• Analyze and release raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Conduct self-inspections/internal audits of the operations.
• Actively work on improvements and efficiencies.

Who are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone who is positive and solution-oriented.
• As a person, you are independent, meticulous, analytical, and structured.
• You should have an academic degree in a relevant field, such as food science, pharmacology, chemistry, microbiology, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• It doesn't matter if you are junior—maybe this is your second job in your career?
• Experience with quality management systems is considered a merit.
