Enterprise Architect

For our client, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of components for the automotive industry, we are looking for an Enterprise Architect in Germany, Frankfurt am Main.

Within the automotive industry, it is one of the leading global manufacturers of exterior rearview mirrors, wiring harnesses and polymer modules and has a diversified industry-leading portfolio of auto ancillary products and services that make it a full system solutions provider for its customers across the globe.

Must have: German language (at least B2)

Services Required:
 Technical Support in Agile Processes:
o Participate in planning, reviews, dailies, and retrospectives as part of the
implementation teams.
 Technical Leadership:
o Act as the lead developer for one of the implementation teams, ensuring adherence to
architectural specifications.
 Architecture Development:
o Provide technical support within the overarching architecture CoPs/AGs.
o Advise the team PO on technical issues.
o Develop Java code and create automatic development tests (JUnit).
o Create Docker containers and Lambda routines (Python and unit testing).
 Deployment Testing:
o Execute and analyze load and quantity structure tests.
o Deploy executable Docker containers or Lambda routines via existing or extended CI/CD
pipelines.
o Create Kubernetes configurations or Helmcharts.
o Analyze and correct security findings and errors in deployed artifacts.
o Support end-to-end tests (Java code) in the planned Test Tool Chain (XRay -gt Gherkin -gtCucumber -gt SilkTest).

 2nd Level Support:
o Provide technical support for pilots as part of 2nd level support.

Technical Requirements:

Mandatory:
 At least 5 years of experience with Build tools like Maven or Gradle.
 At least 5 years of experience in Java FullStack software development (Backend:
Java 17, Frontend: React).
 At least 5 years of experience with automatic code analysis.
 At least 5 years of practical experience with release systems (GitLab).
 At least 5 years of experience with creating Docker containers and deployment
with Kubernetes or Helmcharts.

Desirable (Target Requirements):
 Proven experience with CI/CD workflows and tools based on GitLab/GitRunner
(10% weighting).
 Proven experience with automated security analysis, preferably using Trivy,
Fortify, or Whitesource (10% weighting).
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey
core concepts (CI/CD, Agile, and Automation) to stakeholders (10% weighting).
 Proven experience with IP networks, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls in
fault analysis contexts (10% weighting).
 Proven experience with the implementation of software architecture in code
(15% weighting).
 Understanding of microservices and distributed computing (20% weighting).
 Understanding of architecture principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), etc.
(25% weighting).
