Senior Developer (DBA):(90%Remote) Frankfurt, Germany

Job description: Project Objectives: 90% Remote work in Germany.

• Adaptation and Further Development:
  • Adapt loading programs to changed source systems (e.g., GAT).
  • Adjust to organizational changes (e.g., representation of independent subsidiaries).
  • Replace previous data sources with new ones.
  • Further develop the energy information system to meet new circumstances and requirements.
  • Display additional or extended views integrating new source systems.
• Technical Analysis and Documentation:
  • Analyze, structure, and document new or changed technical circumstances within EIS.
  • Create IT documentation for further developments under Microsoft Word.
  • Maintain the functional system description.
• Advisory and Error Correction:
  • Advise technical management on EIS-related issues.
  • Identify and correct errors in the EIS system (e.g., incomplete loading processes, non-responsive server processes).
  • Provide advice on IT problems and solution scenarios for customers DB REGIO, DB CARGO, DB Fernverkehr.

Services Required:

• Programming/Implementation:
  • Customize technical components in applications based on the technologies used, including associated interfaces, modules, and corresponding databases.
  • Correct errors from test phases in applications/components.
  • Utilize existing data under Business Objects XI 4.1.
  • Conduct code reviews, component tests, module tests, and module group tests.
  • Prepare decision templates on technical topics and present complex technical topics.
  • Report risks and problems to technical architects and project management.

Technical Requirements: Mandatory Requirements:

• • Qualification:
    • 10 years of experience as DBA, with specific expertise in the Oracle environment and performance optimization of SQL queries.
    • 5 years of experience with Business Objects.
    • 5 years of experience with PL/SQL.
    • 5 years of experience in creating and analyzing Oracle SUN Solaris computer platforms.
  • Experience:
    • 5 years of experience with operational processes in planning and executing train journeys, locomotive and passenger coach classification, temporal use of the locomotive and driver, and service types.
    • Experience in database design, implementation, and creation of test scenarios.
    • 2 years of experience in Python.
  • Skills:
    • Experience with shell scripts.
    • Proficiency in German at native speaker level (C2).
    • Knowledge of Office products (Word, Excel).

• Proven Experience:
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in the specified technologies and environments.
