The Head of Mobile Security Research and Operations at Global Mobile Application Security Providers is responsible for overseeing the investigation of vulnerabilities in mobile operating systems and applications on Android and iOS. This managerial role includes leading a team to develop protection mechanisms, support vulnerability signature improvements, conduct penetration tests, and create security demonstrations.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Functions:

• Investigate vulnerabilities in mobile operating systems and applications, including root/jailbreak activities, application manipulation, and runtime modifications.
• Lead the team in developing protection mechanisms through reverse engineering, vulnerability research, exploitation, and mitigation techniques.
• Support the creation and improvement of vulnerability signatures.
• Perform penetration tests on the company's products and applications.
• Script attacks and defenses for mobile devices and applications.
• Develop customer-facing security attack and defense demonstrations.
• Utilize tools such as Frida, Theos, Ghidra, IDA Pro, and Burp Suite.
• Provide leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Specific specialties (master's degree/certification): Certifications related to information security or ethical hacking are a plus.

Minimum experience:

• 5 years of experience in IT/mobile security.
• 2 years of experience leading a security R&D team.

Valuable:

• Good understanding of the security landscape.
• Knowledge of operating system internals (Android, iOS, Linux) and mobile app development.
• Familiarity with rooting/jailbreaking and relevant tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Benefits:

Type of contract: Permanent

Work arrangement: Face-to-face

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Salary: Up to $3,600 per month
