Java Developer ISTP Maitenance

The position requires German language skills (at least B2 level)

Context:

The ISTP Maintenance project involves the implementation and support of various technical processes related to scheduling and passenger information for customers in passenger transport and stations. Key tasks include scheduling trains (handling connections, delays, cancellations, and replacement trains), managing personnel and vehicles, and ensuring application security. The project services primarily include the development and integration of applications within this technical domain, considering existing standards, sustainability, and marketability.

Services Required:

• • Develop, implement, and customize technical components in applications based on the technologies used, including associated interfaces, modules, and databases.
  • Maintain software quality and adhere to company standards, development environments, and programming guidelines.
  • Perform software hardening to meet security requirements.

• • Further develop the Continuous Delivery Pipeline (CI/CD) within the framework of DevOps.
  • Administer and configure monitoring tools to continuously ensure software quality.

• • Identify and resolve errors and security vulnerabilities during test phases.
  • Establish a security concept with technical support from the project team.
  • Provide security advice and report risks and issues to the technical architects and project team.

• • Conduct code reviews, component tests, module tests, and group tests.
  • Create system documentation and delivery packages for the relevant applications.
  • Document technical components and maintain records of technical issues and their resolutions.

Technical Requirements:

• Mandatory Requirements:

• • • At least 6 years of practical experience in application development with Java/JEE (Version 8/9).
    • Experience in developing applications using build automation tools like Maven/Gradle, with at least 2 years of practical experience.
    • Experience in microservice architectures, with at least 2 years of practical experience.

• • • Practical experience in system monitoring with Fortify and Whitesource, with at least 2 years of experience.
    • Experience in creating and establishing security concepts, with more than 1 year of relevant experience.

• • • At least 4 years of experience working on projects using agile process models (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).

• • • At least 1 year of experience working with a company in the transport industry, such as aviation or rail sectors.
    • Experience in application development with VueJS, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
    • Communication know-how with at least 1 year of practical experience.
