Scrum Master(Fluent German Speaker)

Project: ZEUS Context: The Scrum Master is required for the ZEUS project, which aims to ensure target achievement company wide. The project involves managing and coordinating multiple Scrum teams within a multi-project environment, with a focus on scalable frameworks such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching teams, and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Services Required: The Scrum Master will be responsible for providing the following services:

• Agile Coaching and Facilitation:
  • Organize, implement, and follow-up on sprint ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Coach the team and Product Owner in Agile methodologies, particularly in a Scrum of Scrums setting.
  • Facilitate ART (Agile Release Train) events such as PI Plannings, System Demos, and Coach Syncs.
• Workshops and PI Planning:
  • Prepare and conduct workshops, PI planning sessions, retrospectives, and innovation/planning events.
  • Administer and support Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
  • Develop concepts for building a scalable framework for multiple Scrum teams, potentially within a DevOps environment.
  • Optimize onboarding processes, including SAFe onboarding, PI planning onboarding, and general onboarding.
• Project Management:
  • Participate in project-related meetings to clarify technical details and optimize project-related processes.
  • Provide technical support in risk management.
  • Implement a program control system in vehicle management, focusing on consolidating ongoing and planned vehicle measures/projects and their impact on profitability, availability, and quality.

Project Details:

• Location: The primary location for service delivery is Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The project allows for near-shore service provision from Germany. Any provision of services outside Germany requires client approval before commencement. Service provision outside the EU is generally not planned.
• On-site Activities: PI planning sessions require on-site attendance once a quarter.

Technical Requirements: Mandatory:Experience:

• • At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in developing Agile methods in projects, including the use of relevant tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • At least 3 years of experience in applying scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe) in various IT projects within a multi-project environment.
  • Extensive experience in Agile methods and the ability to coach and consult on Agile practices, especially in Scrum of Scrums settings.
  • Proven ability and experience in Agile scaling, such as LESS, SAFe, etc.
• Skills:
  • Strong moderation and communication skills.
  • Experience in conducting larger meetings and workshops with over 10 participants, involving different stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating collaboration models in Agile environments.

Desirable (Should):Experience:

• • Experience in the ZEUS process (ensuring target achievement company-wide) or similar processes of equivalent size and complexity.
  • Experience in organizing and optimizing DevOps practices within an Agile framework.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying Agile scaling frameworks within an energy company.
