Job Description:

The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and policies to enhance the visibility and outreach of the organization. This role involves crafting, editing, and distributing various communication materials tailored for the media and public, including press releases, articles, invitations, interviews, advertorials, and editorials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine the organization’s communication strategies across various platforms including social media networks like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Engage in online communications, manage content creation, interactions, and ensure the communication tone aligns with the overall strategy.
  • Produce photo and video materials that adhere to legal standards, focusing on copyright, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Foster and manage media relations through regular press releases, effectively segmenting the journalist database to optimize communication, and coordinate media events like interviews and press conferences.
  • Collaborate with bloggers and influencers, planning and executing appearances, and organizing related events to enhance the organization's reach and impact.
  • Oversee and update the content of the official website and any associated micro-sites, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory provisions.
  • Conduct research to support the sales process, including analyzing client patterns and generating detailed profiles of potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Create and coordinate the production of promotional materials such as presentations and visual aids (e.g., banners, meshes) to support marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all disseminated data and information.
  • Manage and adhere to the allocated budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization in all marketing activities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills – We are looking for someone who is fluent in both English and Romanian, with strong verbal and written abilities.
  • Extensive experience – At least 3 years of experience in Communication, PR, Social Media, and Event Management. We want you to feel confident in these areas and have a proven track record of success.
  • Creative and energetic personality – We value individuals who are imaginative, innovative, and enthusiastic, capable of inspiring others.
  • Proficiency with digital tools – We need someone comfortable navigating the world of digital communication channels and adept at using a wide range of tools to execute effective campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously – The ideal candidate can efficiently plan and execute tasks, maintaining a high level of attention to detail even in a fast-paced environment.
