Project Leader - Functional Designer

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Project Leader - Functional Designer to join our IT organization, focusing on medium to large-scale projects. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and leading the implementation of robust IT applications critical to data-oriented processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering Analysis: Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for developing robust IT applications, ensuring alignment with crucial data-oriented processes.
• Objective Priority Setting: Collaborate with business teams to establish project objectives, priorities, and timelines.
• IT Functional Coordination: Lead the coordination of IT functional analyses and development, ensuring robust design and implementation of IT solutions.
• Solution Design: Oversee the design of solutions that cover various domains, including data input/output, extraction, storage, traceability, user interface, and reporting.
• Project Organization: Organize project work, participate in setting up the operational run, and ensure smooth execution.
• Communication Collaboration: Foster strong communication and collaboration within the project team and with business stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of functional and technical design components, initially under the guidance of senior team members.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Team Building: Contribute to building a positive team spirit and a collaborative working environment.

Profile

• Education: University Graduate (Master’s in Information Science, Management, or Industrial Engineering) or Professional Bachelor’s degree.

Required Business/Functional Experience

• Project Leadership: Proven experience in leading projects, particularly in IT solution design for medium-scale projects.
• Business Functional Analysis: Strong experience in business and functional analysis, and user requirements gathering.
• IT Solution Design: Experience in designing IT solutions, particularly for data-oriented processes.
• Development Life Cycles: Understanding of Agile project methodology and software development life cycles.
• Process Application Improvement: Experience in improving processes and applications, with a focus on functional requirements for IT.
• Testing Documentation: Ability to describe test scenarios, organize test execution, and document new or adapted processes and functionalities.
• Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Data Querying: Experience with SQL for data querying.
• Dutch and/or French: Fluent in one, with passive knowledge of the other (or not spoken).
• Fluent in English.
