Probate Trust Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a nationally recognized firm that includes attorneys recognized as the best in various cities including Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Kansas City, Ventura, Houston, and Miami. We are looking for an attorney with a primary focus on Probate Estate and Trust litigation to work out of our San Diego office in the Mission Valley area. You will play a critical role in representing our clients in complex probate and estate planning disputes. For perspective, this position will consist of a 95% litigation-focused caseload so if you are looking for a transaction or administrative position this is not it.

You will work closely with our clients, colleagues, and partners to provide strategic legal advice and representation in disputes related to wills, trusts, estate planning, probate litigation, inheritance disputes, conservatorship, elder abuse, elder estate planning, retirement planning, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Draft estate planning documents (wills, trusts, power of attorney, etc.) and advise clients on estate planning matters
• Prepare and draft legal documents and pleadings
• Work on discovery
• Conduct research
• Attend and conduct Depositions and Mediations through Trial
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Represent clients in court
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• CA Bar Admission and in good standing with CA State Bar
• 2 - 3 years minimum of probate, trust  estate litigation experience

Additional Info:

• Bonus + Attorney Fee Commissions
• $130,000 - $200,000 (D.O.E.)
