Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a large plaintiff-side litigation law firm that represents regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies across various industries in both federal and state courts. We are seeking an attorney with a background in Wage Hour, Class Action, and employment law. With our HQ being located in Glendale, CA we prefer attorneys work out of our office but are more than open to a flexible schedule whether that be hybrid or remote. 

This flexibility in schedule will be considered if you have a proven track record in our area of law (Wage Hour, Class Action employment law) and have a complete understanding of the litigation process in state and federal courts. Due to our high volume, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, we have implemented a departmental system. Your skills and experience will determine which department you will be assigned to, whether it is litigation, mediation, or transaction. Rest assured, we will take into consideration your talents and expertise when making this decision.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and oversee a high volume of class action and wage hour litigation cases.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, from case initiation to resolution.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations with confidence and professionalism.
• Work closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives.
• Provide regular updates and maintain open communication throughout the litigation process.
• Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, motions, and other case-related materials.
• Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state laws.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice in California
• Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hours a plus
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines at a time
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat required
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a professional environment and maintain a professional demeanor in all situations, including the ability to remain calm and efficient during stressful situations

Additional Info:

• Base Compensation: $120,000 - $250,000 (D.O.E)
• Plus Additional Bonus/Attorney Fee Structure
