Purpose of the role:

The Hotel Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and provides exceptional customer service during their stay at the Burman Hotel. This role involves managing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries and requests.

Your responsibilities will be: 

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, product offerings, service procedures, and standards.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with check-ins and check-outs.
• Handle reservations, booking inquiries, and modifications.
• Control room inventory for respective room types and categories.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly.
• Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

What we expect from you:

• Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Proficiency in English at a conversational level.
• Team player with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
