Head of Project Management Office (PMO) - Operations

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Project Management Office (PMO) to join our Operations Leadership Team in London. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our Operations project portfolio, including Launches, Integrations, and Manufacturing Science Technology projects. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic alignment in project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
• Oversee the operations project portfolio, ensuring timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
• Lead strategic reviews to align projects with broader organizational goals.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Project Managers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and capabilities.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in project delivery.

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field MBA or advanced project management degree advantageous.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale projects within the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
• Previous experience in senior management roles, such as Head of PMO or Senior Project Manager.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, project management tools, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English French and/or German is an asset.
