Data Scientist (Full remote)

Our client is an Austrian Fintech company specialised in Big Data, Low Latency and Trend Forecasting for the FX and crypto market.

Looking to fill the role of a data scientists with a focus on developing statistical and machine learning models in FX applications.

Main responsibilities :

Support the data science team: Data aggregation, generation of insights, modelling.

Development of statistics models / ML models for a range of FX use cases.

Willingness to learn new languages and frameworks to identify the tools best suited for the objective.

Required experience :

Actual experience in statistics (beyond simple models)

Development of machine learning models

SQL, Python

Desired experience :

Background in natural sciences, math, information science or other statistics-adjacent fields

Kafka stream processing

Collaboration in development teams: Git, CI/CD,

Timeseries databases / OLTP / OLAP

Spark/Scala

Experience in high frequency finance / FX
