Footwear Commercialization And Quality Control Engineer

We are looking for a Commercialization And Quality Control Footwear Engineer to support further growth and expansion in Vietnam to join our team based in Ho Chi Minh City. You will become part of the core team of our Vietnam and Asia team to support supplier locally and brands globally to make sure the process from idea to shipped product is smooth.

The person we are looking for appreciates a hands on approach and is able to create structure in a fast moving environment. You are eager to learn and don´t fear trial and error when taking own initiatives. You have a strong motivation in creating a transparent and resilient supply chain that goes the extra mile.

Key Responsibilities

- Communicate, feedback and follow up with brands globally.

- Follow up, manage and direct shoe factory in Vietnam, mainly Ho Chi Minh area.

- You will be responsible to conduct and document product risk assessments to identifying potential production issues (material and finished shoe level) to address and pro-actively classify risks and set up standards for efficient product and process control. Mission is to ensure a stable quality level in finished goods.  

- Finalize work- related decisions on daily basis and propose possible solutions with complex technical issues to the direct manager

-You own the process, and are responsible, for stages: Commercialization, Pre-production and Production. You set up the method to identify key problems, and continuously improved production quality standards.

-  You conduct Quality inspections and document them to ensure shipments meet desired quality level.

- You ensure that Resourced has the right competence and conditions to deliver great results and experience for both brands and suppliers.

Qualifications

- English fluent, both spoken and written.

- Vietnamese, fluent spoken, writing is a plus.

- Chinese (Mandarin), fluent spoken,writing is a plus.

- 5 years+ experience in industrialization and quality management, both QC and setting up SOPs. 

- Deep knowledge of upper pattern, bottom tooling processes and upper mold making. Focus on Strobel and board lasting cemented construction. Vulcanized and Direct injection process is a plus.

- Strong communication in international context.

- Confidence in working independently and taking ownership of objectives, while being methodical and problem-solving oriented.
