Float - RN

Join our team at Bay Area Hospital as an Float RN to provide care to patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Created and owned by local citizens, Bay Area Hospital has been the hub of South Coast healthcare for nearly five decades.

Schedule and Shift Details
● Varied Shift 8-80 / hours per two-week pay period

Key Responsibilities
● Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.
● Teaches patients and significant others.
● Documents patient care in the medical record.
● Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.

Required:

Associate degree or higher with 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Physician Informatics

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Oregon (OR)

ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)

American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
