Job Summary:
This Business Development Manager opportunity is responsible for development of new customers and obtaining new sales for our facility in Thomson, Georgia, as well as development and maintenance of existing customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability of projects.
Essential Job Functions:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for prospecting for new customers and the development and maintenance of current customers.
· Effectively work with cross-functional teams, including Estimating, Engineering, Customer Service, Plant Management and Project Management.
· Maintain all customer information and interactions in CRM.
· Provide detailed sales projections by customer for development of the sales forecast.
· Update management and executive teams appropriately when sales opportunities are not in line with targets and/or schedule.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering or related field
· 5 – 7 years of related experience in Sales
· Ability to read/interpret product drawings
· Understanding of fabrication and welding processes
· Excellent communication skills which are utilized to manage employees and work with cross-functional teams
· Proficient in Microsoft and CRM software
Travel : requirement to travel isup to 50%.
