About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented Header Fitter Welder to join our skilled team in Catoosa. If you’re an experienced welder who thrives on precision work and enjoys a challenge, this is your chance to showcase your expertise. You’ll be responsible for fitting and welding components according to detailed blueprints, using advanced welding techniques in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Accurately read and interpret blueprints for precise layout and assembly.
• Utilize a range of welding techniques, including SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
• Set up welding equipment and prepare workpieces for accurate fitting and welding.
• Use tools like hammers, wedges, drift pins, and grinders for fitting and finishing.
• Align and position components manually or with the help of cranes.
• Straighten warped materials using proven methods to ensure a perfect fit.
• Operate cutting torches and plasma cutters, and measure with precision using tape measures, squares, and levels.
• Keep detailed records of production and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Maintain reliable attendance and be ready to work overtime when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong skills in reading blueprints and welding layouts.
• Advanced knowledge of SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Proficient in using welding tools and equipment, including hammers, grinders, and measuring devices.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision.
• Dependable and punctual, with flexibility for overtime.
