Powder Coating Painter

• Pay: $18+/hr (based on experience)

Position Overview: We’re hiring a Powder Coating Painter to prepare surfaces, mix and apply paint, and achieve high-quality finishes on metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces by removing scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt to achieve a smooth, specified finish
• Load abrasives like sand, grit, or shot into machine hoppers as needed
• Select premixed paints or mix pigments, oils, and other substances to match required colors
• Proficiently operate power spray guns to apply coatings and ensure quality finishes

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of industrial powder coating painting experience, with a minimum of 6 months in a similar role
• Ability to pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and wear a respirator as needed
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling active, hands-on tasks
