Role: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Hartford, WI
Compensation:$20-35/hour depending on experience + 12% shift differential
Hours/ScheduleFull-Time position working 6 PM- 6 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
· Average of 78 LESS working days per calendar year than a traditional 5-day schedule.
· Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend!
· 8 hours of overtime built into the schedule every other week

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of Signicast’s business goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
· Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
· Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining function, form, and texture of parts.
· Fabricates repair parts with machine shop instrumentation and equipment using basic machinist skills.
· Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, digital multimeter, and straightedges to manufacturer or company specifications
· Controls downtime by scheduling with supervisors and technicians of routine preventive maintenance techniques
· Operate an electric cart, forklift, articulating boom, and man lift
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Good Computer Skills
· Operating various precision measuring devices and lifting devices
· HVAC Knowledge
· Chain Drives
· Electrical Knowledge- PLC knowledge is a plus
· Mechanical Knowledge (gearbox rebuilds, belt replacement, motor replacement)
· Conveyor Experience
· Hydraulics/Pneumatics
· Ability to read Blueprints and Schematics
· Plumbing Experience
· Read, write, and speak English
· Ability to safely perform the duties of the job as required
Work Environment/Physical Demands
· Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear
· Use hands to work tools, controls, etc.
· Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or HSED/GED Equivalent
· 2-5 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
· Manufacturing Environment experience is a plus
