Superintendent - Melbourne

About the Role

RoofClaim.comis a  preeminent, residential re-roofing company, seeks an experienced Superintendent to ensure that all jobs are completed timely, on budget, and in accordance with the Florida Building Codes. We are looking for a motivated and professional individual with exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs while enforcing safety standards. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for subcontractor management, as well as being an on-site liaison for the customer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that both the health and safety project plans are implemented

• Oversee multiple residential roof installation projects per day

• Quality assurance for subcontractors’ work and ensuring that all building codes are met

• General inspections of job site, crew performance, and safety standards

• Follows the project construction process to ensure that it is completed on time

• Act as liaison with both customers and Building Officials

• Perform complete job inspection after the installation is complete

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years of construction experience

• Bi-lingual in Spanish & English is a plus

• High School Diploma

• Familiar with Florida Building Codes

• Very organized individual with a meticulous attention to detail.

• Technology proficiency is mandatory; experience with Salesforce is a plus

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass an extensive background check, drug screening, and MVR

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to climb on a ladder

• Must be willing to walk on a roof

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Knowledge or awareness of roofing related products and installation methods

• Strong communication skills

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
